CF Monroe Belle Ware Textured Blue Floral Glass Box Brass Hardware

Meriden Connecticut in 1890 by hand. aged, and fabulous. Interior brown satin, signed on base. texture dresser jewelry box with blue flowers, green accent. Beautifully lined, with satin textile. marked on base. according to my research, Belle Ware glass was made in 1903 b Carl V Helmschmie, and in 1904 he started a corporation known as Helmschmie Manufacturing Co. The Factory Closed in 1908. However, another research indicates, that Belle Ware is made by CF Monroe Co. Meriden Connecticut in late 1890's. This box has beautiful gilt Bronze framing, and clasp has not survived the way it should. The glass in excellent condition, no chips or crack or nicks. The lining if fabulous in chocolate brown.
