William J Bartko Desert Landscape Mountain View Signed Watercolor Gouache

This exciting Gouache represents artist feeling. A desert landscape, watercolor, painted, and signed by listed artist, William Bartko (1905-1989). Born in Toledo, Ohio, to Hungarian parents. For much of his life, he earned a living as a sign painter to Foster & Kleiser in Los Angeles. He retired in 1961 and moved to Borrego Springs and devoted himself to fine art painting until his death in 1989. William J Bartko was a member of the desert art center in Palm Springs. This magnificent watercolor,  inspires Mountain, Cloud, blue sky, and desert. Ratko specialties, was smoke trees. The art is in beautiful gilt composed frame, and white card mat. Secured verso, and prepared for hanging.
