made in Western Germany, marked in fine print on the very edge of decorative barometer open face. initiates Stormy, Rain, Change, Fair, Very Dry in red and black on this beautiful porcelain faced wall decor. made of medium colored wood, golden metal frame and hanging hardware. visible mechanical under glass on the center. compass button for adjusting, fairly heavy. Fabulous aged condition, being near the water, wear on metal frame. Western Germany is no longer exists, so this charming wall art is from around 1950's.
