Miniature Cinnabar Circular Asian Scholar Box

A super cute miniature jewelry box, red lacquered Cinnabar is the material from which the object is carved. This sweet, highly decorated miniature box is gorgeous. Likely made by Chinese in vintage era, however, unaware of the origin. 1.5" H. x  2.25" diam. Excellent condition, with smooth black interior, Cinnabar smooth base with few invisible scratches, and quite heavy for the size. Makes beautiful desk accessory.
