Lapis lazuli has been mined for centuries from a locality still in use today in the remote mountain valley called Kokcha, in Afghanistan. Stevens And Williams glass was produced at the Brierly Hill Glass works in Stourbridge, England. For nearly a century beginning in the 1830's. They were credited with being among the first to develop  a method of manufacturing a more affordable type of cameo glass. Other lines were also made  silver deposit , alexandrite and engraved rock crystals. to name but a few. In this category we attribute few of our spectacular glass / crystals to Stevens And Williams as identifying cameo, vase, in plums, cobalt blue, in opal and ruffles.... so we are thinking that presentation fits the purpose. information...
