John Perry Three Dolphins Mid Century Modern Signature Sculpture

Three charming dolphins on black lacquer wood stand. cartouche oval title tag,  copyrighted, in symbol. Designed by John Perry. In 1973 he founded the Studio with the concept of applying the very latest materials. Molding techniques to the reproduction of his sculpture in order to make it as broadly accessible as possible, by developing Pellucida. A compound of resins that can be presented in a variety of forms, the frosted version resembling bisque porcelain, the beige version, balanite, looks like polished ivory. 12" h. x 12"& the platform is 7.5" x 4.5" x 1.5" .
