Venetian Glass has been made on the Island of Murano, near Venice. Since the 13th Century most of the wares on the tin walled, many types of decoration have been utilized. embedded gold dust, lace work and applied fruits or flowers.
Venetian glass continues to be made today. this bowl is not new.
