Don Davey New Orleans Bourbon Street Impressionist Signed Lithograph


Bourbon Street is infamous for it's many bars and strip clubs. A historic street in the heart of The French Quarter of New Orleans. Blocks from Canal Street to to Esplande Avenue. The art is in black & white inspiring lithograph white signed , dated copy righted in 1980's by Don Davey. under secured glass, contemporary black frame, excellent aged. About the artist, Don Davey,  distinguished career started at the American Academy of Art in Chicago. His illustrations have lent sparkle to such Mc Calls magazine, Saturday evening post, and Fortune magazines. He served on the faculty of the Academy of Art in San Francisco. Davey was instrumental in the formation of the Society of Illustrators which he served as President.. Upon touring the Orient, he presented world tour as part of his permanent collection of the United States Air Force documentary art program. An award winning artist with gold and silver medals. small part of his collections refers to landmark which includes California's Monterrey, Pennsylvania, San Francisco and New Orleans.
