F Boucher Rococo Romantic Signed Porcelain Silver Box

A French painter, artist, Francois Boucher (1703 -1770)  designer who studied in Rome. Was elected to the French academy in 1734, became court painter in 1765. His painting was enormously influential on 18th Century European Tapestry and Ceramic. This beauty is signed F. Boucher, France. Dated 1854.  porcelain box, painted by hand.  cobalt background, base. Lilac Flower interior. white metal frame, stunning flower closure! excellent aged, 1.25" x 3.5" x 2.5". The look is quite authentic, however, we can not be certain of the authentication.
