beautifully executed in black, charcoal by well known Austrian artist Frederick Halpern, known as F.H. Halpern. Frederick Halpern was born in 1909 .He moved to Australia in 1950's, and as a world traveler, he visited New Zealand, Java, Bali, and other countries. He learned and studied painting and print making in France, and Vienna. Artist's charcoal art, is titled La Mer, inspiring harbor view, boats, and ocean. His signature is on the right, also on the verso. The art is numbered 25/4 on the left. Updated with electrifying wood frame, in slight gilt over soft green, and protected in glass. The art is aged with multiple yellow spots, on the paper. Verso artist's hand written date, 1925 and titled, in French La Mer (The Sea) . Halpern has impressive auction records, Most of his prints has been sold at auction.
