Velletri 67 Surrealist Portrait French Canson Paper Scripted Signed Dated
This gorgeous pastel portrait of a woman is stamped, signed by well known listed Augustino Gus Velletri (1922-2016) and has multiple inscriptions. Canson is a French manufacturer of Fe Art Paper funded in 1557. The description indicated Montgolfier Vidalon Les Anninonay. Most likely the art is a mix media on paper watercolor and graphite on cream sort of wavy paper with darkened dimension water mark.Inscriptions are all highlighted on the images. The art is in excellent condition secured with glass, on gilt wood not so very good condition contemporary frame. Artist has a unique signature on the lower right, and secured paper covered back. All Original. The Origin is unknown. The color contrasting is incredible.
