About the Mexican Artist Felipe Derflingher

Article was written in August 9, 1983 in Texas Newspaper by Terry Goodrich about a Mid Century Modern Circa 1960's Mexican artist Felipe Derflingher "change glass reflection". He is a third generation glass craftsman in Mexico City. His grandfather immigrated from Germany, was the first glass blower in Mexico. His art has been handed down through years of practice. The Derflingher's son and daughters carrying on the tradition. Artist created incredible glass chandeliers and objects throughout the years of practice in Mexico and Texas. The featured images displays arts and crafts sculptural glass and iron hanging art, sun catchers. The cobalt blue, cabochons and patina creates decorative textures.
