The Noritake Company was first registered in 1904 as Nippon Gomei Kaisha. In 1917 the name became Nippon Toki Kabushiki Toki. The M in Wreath mark is that of Mofimura Brothers, distributors in offices in New York. It was used until 1941. The tree crest mark is the crest of the Morimura Family.
