Antique Silver Letter Opener Sterling Lion Reindeer Hallmarked
A bookmark, letter opener dates back to 1800's according to the research, supposed to be meat skewer. It has five hallmarks on front, One deer mark " wild animal" maker's mark engraved. The lion mark signifies British sterling, along with crown and other etched markings. The condition is excellent with signs of scratches and aging. The bookmark is about less than 12" long and pointy.
