Canadian artist Betty Williamson 1916-2003, was born in Ottawa, Ontario, traveled to Mexico and San Francisco to further her education. A writer, illustrator and photographer, was educated in University of Ontario, and work as fashion illustrator in Canada. She wrote her first book at the age of 86. Her book entitled Reflections on The Fungaloid. Artist described her magnificent art with colorful sail boats and incredible brush stroke on canvas. The art is dated by artist in 1967. This remarkable art is oil on canvas and recently updated, in contemporary gilt wood frame. The condition is excellent, and signature is on the very low end to the right.
