Dino Marten Attribute, stunning black glass bow, square dish is from Island of Murano applied flowers on the center, in gorgeous colors. gold inclusion, is fabulous. bold, beautiful centerpiece is glowing. excellent condition, with faded mark on the base. 15" wide, &  4" H.  significantly heavy, weights over 6 lbs. 

Venetian Glass has been made on the Island of Murano, near Venice. Since the 13th Century most of the wares on the tin walled, many types of decoration have been utilized. embedded gold dust, lace work and applied fruits or flowers. 

Venetian glass continues to be made today. this bowl is not new.
