Rose Cabat was an American Artist. She was born June 27, 1014, in Bronx New Jersey, and died January 25 in Tuscan Arizona. An acclaimed studio artist, is classified as part of the mid century modern movement. Best known for her innovative glaze upon small porcelain pots called Feelies, often in the shape of onion, fig or bowls. She was the oldest known actively practicing pottery artist in the United States, educated in University of Hawaii.Artist has impressive auction records.
