an exquisite wood Indian jewelry box, beautifully inlaid, majolica style, hinged, with red velvet lined interior, base. showing off Inspiring Mughal portraits, hand painted, glazed over, in stunning colors. Slightly gilt work, with spectacular shine. footed with brass paws. floral, figures, wearing crowns in details. From vintage era, merely towards 80's. Box connected to the foot with nails. Overall very good, with sign of ware, and minor thin hair line crack towards oval princess portrait only appears with fine magnifier. 3" height, 6" width, 3.75" length.
