Two super charming, rectangular black hinged boxes designed with hand painted flowers and birds in stunning colors of green, orange and gold. They both have locks but no keys. Made of wood, both has stamp marked on the bottoms indicates Japan with symbols of SS. Very likely dates back to post WWII. Larger is 12" x 4" x 3.5" and smaller is 11" x 3"x 2.5" . Both are in excellent condition with sign of aging. Table decor, jewelry boxes, keep sake boxes
