Japanese Black Lacquer Nesting Bowls Hand Painted Signature Box

A beautiful vintage black lacquered Japanese nesting bowls in covered box are hand painted with gorgeous gilt , red / terracotta various design, outdoor, ships, birds, ocean, cottages, and temples, symbolizing Japan cultures . There are three mini bowl inside, 2" and 2.5" diam, likely signed or symbolized.  The cover or box 2" x 3".  Gilt work  decoration. Overall excellent condition with signs of aging. condition, cover has a finial at the top.
