Persian Khatam, wood miniature box, stunning work of folk ethnic Persian artistry, bold relief, raised dancers. Hand crafted, with exquisite workmanship detailing, intricate marquetry, touch of gilt, applied inlaid enamels, possibly ivories from old vintage era. aged, very good, bit distressed, loss of paint on the very right top corner, noticeable on the image. also, a dark, likely a burn mark on the base, noticeable on the images. being survive from several decades, is quite natural. 2" h., 6" w. x 4" d. red textile lined, wood solid base, folk hand written numbers.
