Russian Silver Characters On Malachite Holding Ruby Eye Sterling Marks
During the late 19th and early 20th century, Russia contained skilled craftsmanship in silver . These three attractive quite unique / rare / unusual silver Russian ethnic figures, are slightly gold plated. masterful detailing situated on Malachite rectangular 2.5" x 1.5" green polished stands smooth cuts. Three different characters, presumably different ethnicity & tribes. a man wearing hat, holding a pig with ruby eyes, under his right arms, left arm smoke pipe, and in excellent condition.
a musician with mandolin, wearing hat, one arm on waist & pointed finger on the air, with engraving number 84 marked. very minor scratch only visible with loop, on the very corner of malachite stand.
the bald man, holding his knee with one hand, other on the waist, wearing robe, sword behind, with two minor chips on the base, noted on the imag.
they are being acquired from an antique jeweler designer from his private gathering. Collector's presumption, that they may be from Faberge' era certainly Russia, in late 19th early 20th century. with that said, in fabulous aged condition.
each weights about a bit over 1/2 lbs. each measure 3.5" h. or about few mm high or low.
